A Threefold Cord
At the heart of an education at St. David’s stands a threefold partnership: the Christian home, the Lutheran congregation, and the classical academy. Parents are honored as the primary educators of their children. The congregation provides the spiritual nourishment of Word and Sacrament. And the school serves as a faithful extension of both, walking alongside families in the sacred task of forming young souls.

The primary calling
Parents hold the divine calling to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. St. David’s supports and extends this calling; it never supplants it.
The Church
The spiritual foundation
Zion Lutheran Church provides the spiritual foundation through worship, catechesis, and pastoral care. The school is a ministry of the congregation.
The Academy
The classical expertise
The school brings the expertise of the classical liberal arts, immersing students in Scripture, language, mathematics, music, and the great works of the Western tradition.
